The following is a statement of FSP’s wills, trusts and tax planning experience. The matters are described in general terms to protect confidentiality. Will Preparation

Advising on and preparing wills of varying complexity including those incorporating trusts designed to protect and preserve the estate and to maximise the use of inheritance tax exemptions for high net worth individuals.
 

Estate Planning

Advising on the effective passing of wealth within a family to future generations by use of will trusts and lifetime trusts including the preparation of wills and trusts for chief executives and directors of publicly quoted companies.
 

Preparation and
formation of trusts

Advising on all aspects of trust law. Preparing all necessary trust documentation from the settlement deed to appointments of trustees and appointments of funds from discretionary trusts. Including the preparation of a substantial number of such documents for a national trust company.
 

Trust Administration

Acting as or for trustees in the day to day administration of trusts including charitable trusts.
 

Tax Advice

Advising with regard to inheritance tax generally and with regard to income tax and capital gains tax for both individuals and trustees and preparing annual tax returns.
 

Powers of Attorney

Acting as attorneys under both general and enduring powers of attorney and preparing powers of attorney where we are not appointed attorneys. Including advising attorneys and dealing with registrations of enduring powers of attorney in the Court of Protection.
 

Advising the Elderly

Advising the elderly with regard to the provision for future funding of care expenses and with regard to availability of benefits.
