Our employment lawyers have considerable experience in advising
companies and individuals on a full range of employment matters,
including the preparation of directors’ service contracts, terms of
employment and company policy documents. We provide day to day advice on
potential problems such as disciplinaries and grievances, managing
sickness absence, TUPE transfers and conducting redundancy programmes.
We support our colleagues in the corporate team on corporate
transactions with input into the due diligence process, drafting and
reviewing of employment-related indemnities, warranties and disclosures
and practical advice to clients on managing the integration of
businesses.
We also advise on employment tribunal proceedings, such as wrongful and
unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, and High Court litigation
such as injunction proceedings for enforcement of restrictive covenants
or damages claims for breach of confidentiality. We recognise the
difficult and sensitive nature of the issues that can arise for both
employers and employees and we pride ourselves on finding the
appropriate solutions for each individual situation.
