New partners appointed 1st April 2008. Joe Lott and Jo Wilson have been made partners in our dispute resolution team. Both Joe and Jo started off their legal careers as trainees with the firm. These appointments demonstrate the continuing growth and importance of this team and will enhance FSP's reputation as one of the leading law firms handling commercial dispute resolution in the Thames Valley and beyond. As well as dealing with mainstream dispute resolution work, Jo Wilson also heads up our specialist corporate recovery and insolvency group.

All change at Station Hill. First impressions of Reading on arrival at the railway station are unlikely to be favourable. Drab rectangular blocks dominate a scene that is more seventies than noughties. Fortunately all that is about to change. Sackville Developments, whose chairman is John Madejski, have obtained planning permission for a major re-development of the area and visitors to the recent public exhibition put on by Sackville will have seen stunning photographic impressions of the proposed scheme (click here). FSP are the project’s lawyers and our commercial property group has been involved from the outset in all legal aspects of the scheme, including site acquisition, funding agreements, interim lettings and construction contracts. The next few years promise to be busy and exciting times for Sackville and FSP.
